Dr. Anita Wheat
Veterinarian
Dr. Anita Wheat grew up in a small town in western Alabama, where she developed her love for animals while helping her father care for the family’s cows and chickens. From an early age, she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian and eventually discovered her passion for small animal care. She attended Auburn University, earning both her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wheat enjoys spending time outdoors walking in the park with her dog, Smitty, or relaxing with a good book—especially from the Harry Potter series.

Dr. Samantha Special
Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha Special was born in Columbus, GA, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Columbus State University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings, including general practice and urgent care. Dr. Special’s greatest passion in veterinary medicine is providing quality, compassionate care to every patient she treats.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Special enjoys reading and spending time with her dog and cat.
